iClear and allClear FAQs

iClear and allClear help advertisers assess non-broadcast advertising against the CAP Code. iClear provides rapid risk screening, while allClear adds expert human review and Clearcast assurance. • iClear assesses scripts, static images, and video, typically within minutes; it uses prepaid credits, is not formal clearance or legal advice, and can be escalated to allClear. • allClear feedback is guaranteed within 3 working days of upload, though further rounds may take up to 3 working days and responsibility for compliance remains with the advertiser.

What content can I assess, and are iClear and allClear only available for non-broadcast advertising?

Users can assess advertising scripts, static images and video content through the platform. Both services are designed to support advertisers assessing advertising assets (outside of the traditional broadcast clearance process) against the CAP code.

Can I move from iClear to allClear?

Yes. If you'd like additional reassurance and protection, you can escalate an iClear assessment to allClear for expert human review.

How much will this cost?

We got a complaint. Do we get our money back?

A. No. As with broadcast clearance, we do not guarantee that an advert or campaign will not receive a complaint. allClear provides an expert compliance assessment based on the information available at the time of review, helping advertisers reduce risk and make more informed decisions.
